"private placement" != "private sector placement"
Oh yeah. Didn't read that part. Private placement through Chicago? Hmmm. LOL. Yeah right. I know of a few finance guys that got their thing because the finance prof harassed the other places to an extent that those guys then told us about it. But there was still interviews and flyouts involved so the candidates still had to not screw up too badly. Econ department, I don't think their prof care enough for their students to even consider "private placement".
