New School grad here. Please don't let the previous posts fool you - it is very difficult to get a job out of NSSR. 90% of the departments out there will deep six your application even if you're in exactly the field their hiring in. You're marketing to a tiny pool of heterodox departments and think tanks. IMO, UMass Amherst does a better job of getting their candidates positions but that could be sour grapes as I lost out to UMass Amherst grads twice.
