I need to get out of this town where I have been living for 5 years straight. I need it so bad.
Any (real and honest) advice about how to find a visiting position? Are all these positions basically full time teaching positions (hopefully not)?
Given that I am willing to get a big big haircut in my salary to get out from here for one quarter (preferably summer) you think I can contact schools? I mean, would a school be interested in a very cheap visiting situation? Maybe even free... damn...
